The Game is Released Early from Jail
The Game was released from the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles County, just eight days into a 60 day sentence.
The Game, aka Jayceon Taylor was convicted last month of possesion of a firearm in a school zone. Charges stem from and incident almost a year ago in which he was accued of pulling a gun on an opposing tem member during a pick-up basketball game.
“Can I Speak to Biggie” Released
The 11th anniversary of the untimely death of the Notorious B.I.G. was Sunday, and was marked by the release of a new tribute song. The track, “Can I Speak to Biggie “ brings together unlikely collaborators 50 Cent, Bizzy Bone, Bobby Valentino, Chingy, Maino, R&B singer Chris Notez and New York rapper “Hav Boy” Monte, for the first homage track not to be release on Diddy’s Bad Boy Records. Monte, who also produced the song, says that he plans on releasing behind-the-scenes video footage from the recording, and will continue Biggie tribute songs each year but with different artists.
Wu-Tang Clan Cancels Tour
The scheduled Wu-Tang Clan Tour has been cancelled according to released news. Raekwon has decided to take time to finish “Only Built For Cuban Links Part II”. GZA is also working on an album for Babygrande, currenlty titled “Protocols.”
