Jen “Blanco” Marah – Founder and CEO – Jen founded Hip-Hop Lives (HHLO.net) and the BerMar Media group in late 2007. Her mission and goal, love the culture and educate the young people on the history of the music and the culture. She has sit down sessions with her own, the most profound was the line by line analysis of every Outkast song on ATLiens and hours debating the music with her closest friends and mentors.

Bert “B Lucci” Reid – President Sales & Marketing – Harlem born and bred, it was second nature for B Lucci to jump on board with the culture he’s always lived. B’s the one that runs the streets, takes cares of business and is the one to hit up if you want to do some advertising on the site.
Yobi “Purple Haze” Figeuroa – Hip Hop Lives TV NY Host – Growing up in New York , Yobi always had a passion for writing and performing and modeling. At the age of 18, she enrolled at Stony Brook University on Long Island, NY where she pursued a degree in English and Broadcast Journalism. While at Stony Brook Yobi became active in the school’s theater program and even wrote and recorded songs that she later performed at various locations throughout NYC.
After graduating college, Yobi landed a job at Interscope Records at Universal, working in their promotions department. While there, she worked closely with notable artists such as, G-Unit, Rich Boy, Robin Thicke, and many more.

Nick Ramsay – Contributing Writer – Nick used to have a T-shirt that said “Hoops, Honeys, & Hip Hop.” The three H’s; If you ask him, that’s all you need in life. Nick says, “As a Minnesota kid, I was exposed to Atmosphere at a young age– 7th grade, I think– and my love for hip hop was born. To this day, that love is one of the most stable things in my life. I’m a 20-year-old college student studying to be a writer. Yup, that’s about it. I’m blowin’ up like you thought I would, call the crib, same number, same hood, it’s all good.”
