News Desk 

This intern will be responsible for reporting Hip-Hop related news during a set schedule through out the week. These assignments are found on your own doing research or using contacts you may have in the industry, sometimes items may be sent to this individual to be turned into a news item (i.e. Press Releases).  

Articles require at least 150 words on the news item and a photo to accompany.

Position is paid at a set rate for weekly assignments. THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION.  

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO KEEP IN CONTACT WITH EDITOR AND CONTENT MANAGER AND MEET DEADLINES!!!

Position requirements: Writing skills, computer, email, internet and access to a phone, preferably a phone that can email or text from a news site if applicable, ability to capture photos and video a plus. Ability to check facts and do some research.

Desired attributes: We’re looking for a self-starter, someone who can take initiative and get the job done on time, someone who can work from home with little or no guidance and understands the definition of a “virtual team.”

Advertising Sales

 

This position is a freelance position. It will pay based on the amount of sales you make for our several advertising categories. Pay is 50% of the total sale when closed. (i.e. you sell $150.00 in adspace you get $75.00).

Compensation includes commission on sales, and freebies. After proven sales history, position within company will be offered an an hourly & commission rate.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND WEEKLY SALES TEAM MEETINGS, AND STAY IN TOUCH WITH PRESIDENT OF MARKETING & SALES!!! If you can’t this position is not for you!!!

Internet Marketing Intern

 

HHLO.net is looking for an internet marketing intern. Duties and responsibilities include MySpace, Facebook and other social networking websites, finding and reporting ways to increase internet presence and site visitors.

We require 5 hours of work per week.

Compensation includes commission on sales, and freebies. After three months, position becomes paid, if wanted.
