T.I. announced yesterday on HOT 107.9 in Atlanta that he is releasing Alfamega from Grand Hustle because of the news that has hit that Alfa once acted as a federal informant to reduce a sentence from being found guilty of selling weapons to an undercover federal agent.

T.I. goes onto say on the show:

“I am stunned and totally surprised by the news about Alpha ‘Ced’ Zellers. Even though all our artists and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history, at no time did Alpha never disclose to me or Grand Hustle which is now appearing in the news,” T.I. said, reading from a prepared statement. “He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose information about his past, and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior.”

Prior to his court records being released, Alfamega was preparing to release his Grand Hustle debut I Am Alfamega sometime this year.

It’s a Snitches World

If you haven’t seen it by now, I’m glad you made sure to stop thru today. But the site (TheSmokingGun.com) notorious for all those wonderful “proofs” of evidence…Pac’s autopsy pics and more, has released the documents proving that Alfamega was snitching to get a shorter term. I can’t wait to see the backlash on this one, but when are people in the streets gonna realize that this is the way white people have become successful for thousands of years, not caring who they step on…maybe some of these cats are just realizing if they snitch, they get something they need.

Court records show that Zellars began working with law enforcement officials after he was sentenced in September 1995 to 110 months in a federal gun case (Zellars, who had a prior felony robbery conviction, was collared for selling weapons to an undercover federal agent). Zellars “agreed to cooperate with authorities and was debriefed” about the criminal activity of several individuals. “In particular he was debriefed concerning the drug trafficking activities of a Mr. Ali Baaqar,” according to a government court filing.
