Gravy cast to play Notorious B.I.G. in upcoming Biography.

Producers of the Notorious B.I.G.’s biopic Notorious have picked Brooklyn rhyme-spitter Gravy (aka Jamal Woolard) to portray the late rhyme-slinger in the movie. “He is a talented and charismatic actor, and I am excited that he will bring Christopher’s character to life,” says B.I.G.’s mother Voletta Wallace. In addition, Anthony Mackie has been cast to portray Tupac Shakur; Angela Bassett will play Biggie’s mom; and Derek Luke will play Sean “Diddy” Combs.
