It’s also important to consider what you’d like to store in the shed. Small tools can be hung on walls to save space, but large items like lawnmowers and snow blowers need more square footage.
The vast majority of sheds are uninsulated. The only time you need to insulate a shed is when it will be used as a workplace. Insulation has a wide range of costs, from low-cost fiberglass to ICF blocks. Expect to spend at least $200 on insulating a basic shed.
