Sheds are a great way to add valuable space to your home without major renovations (i.e. knocking out walls). These popular outbuildings serve a variety of useful purposes. From additional storage to home offices and artist studios, the possibilities for your new shed are truly endless. If you’re looking for a quality shed in Indianapolis, you’ve come to the right place. At Recreation Unlimited, we’re proud to offer custom, Amish-built sheds in Indiana to meet the needs of people just like you.
The assembly process may take up to 1.5 hours and the good news is that providing a foundation isn’t an absolute necessity. Thanks to it having a relatively compact size and being a horizontal type it’s enough to have flat ground to lay it on, although, for the warranty to remain intact, the manufacturer recommends placing it on a foundation or platform and anchoring it. If you want, you can also add shelves, as the panels allow for add-ons, but those are not included with the purchase. Another helpful feature is the gliding lid that can be slid back, which gives walk-in access when you open the double doors. To prevent it from opening up, you can also lock the lid (and the doors with the use of the handles) but you’ll have to have your own padlock.

Brick sheds may be built with a wooden frame and then clad in brick or, in rare instances, be built of nothing but brick with a timber roof. In either case, they can be customized or finished in a wide variety of ways. Brick is expensive to work with, even with a wooden frame, so expect to pay about $24,000 on average.
