There are additional costs that go into building a shed. If your shed is more than 100 square feet, you will need a permit to build it, which has costs starting at $100. If you intend to work from plans rather than contracting with a shed building company, you need to purchase those as well. Shed plans cost $100 to $1,000, depending on where you purchase them and the plan’s complexity.
Overpriced but good service, they will contact you for years after you come see them

I have been looking for something like this to build and put on my back deck for a potting shed. I am always doing stuff in the yard and I always have to either go up front to the garage or way in the back to the shed for my yard tools. Since most of my flower beds and potted plants are on or around my deck this would be perfect to keep all my little yard tools in and handy.
If you need an option for those days when you are on the go, the YardStash IV is a portable camping equipment storage tent, perfect for keeping the rain away from your belongings. Pros: Can be placed on flat ground All parts are labeled for an easy assembly Complies with most HOA imposed height limits Very clear instructions Cons: Anchors might be needed if your area has strong winds The lid might catch from time to time
Plastic kits are available for small sheds, and they are very durable. However, they are not customizable and are limited in size and style. Wood sheds need more maintenance than plastic sheds, but you can endlessly customize them with size, color, trim, and siding and roofing choices.
All storage sheds are built in our shop and delivered to your site, ready to move into. If you are currently renting space, or your garage doesn't have room for the car anymore, contact us and compare our prices and workmanship with anyone!!
Another outdoor structure that many people choose to build if they have the space and need is a barn. Barns are larger than sheds and are better for storing equipment, such as tractors, and housing animals. They often are two stories or contain lofts for additional storage, while sheds are usually one large room, although some sheds can also have a small loft or sleeping area.
Countryside Barns features affordable prices for our sheds and other buildings styles. However, we understand that our customers want payment options. For this reason, we do offer financing for our products. Contact us to learn more and visit our financing page to find out about our rent-to-own and installment loan financing options.
Would you like to know what one of our structures looks like in a different color? Or with a different roof? What about a striking accent color? Well, now you can! If you’ve ever assembled a shed before, you might be able to see it through by yourself. But if not, I strongly recommend having a helping hand and looking at any videos you can find, because the manual won’t be of much help with some of the parts. The construction itself is very sturdy and it handled last week’s rainy day and this week’s 13 mph winds in Kentucky pretty well, seeing as the inside is completely dry and untouched. Another aspect our team enjoyed was that there are double windows and two screens that help with ventilation and there’s never any weird, closed-space smell inside. The only smells you’ll feel are those of the things you store. Pros: Construction is reinforced with steel All-weather protection Many ventilation features Large capacity Cons: If the foundation isn’t level, the roof pieces might not connect well and you could get leaks Instruction manual lacks clarity
It depends on how you plan on using it. Those bigger than 6×8 will need a foundation because of their size alone, as it needs stability, but those smaller are generally fine on flat ground, or even on level pavement slabs. The risks of not providing a foundation include possible leaks because the pieces might not fit together as well, having a crooked structure, and, in some cases, the warranty can be voided if you choose to skip adding a solid and level base.
Do NOT purchase anything from Recreation Unlimited these crooks! I worked with Linzi Jones and Alicia Schilke (The GM) and they are incompetent liars. I purchased a play set and playhouse for over $12,000, I ordered the same thing that was on the floor and what came was totally the wrong set. I ordered the 6 foot version and they sent me the 4 foot version. I have tried to get them to fix the situation and they are unwilling to accept fault. You would think for $12k they could fix their mistake. DO NOT buy from these snakes!!
