The labor cost to build a shed varies tremendously based on several factors. Most sheds can be built on any clear area of an existing yard, but if you do not have a clear area, you need excavation or clearing first, which adds to the cost. Grading is the most common type of land preparation needed for a shed and costs $4.37 - $5.41 a square foot.

If you’ve ever assembled a shed before, you might be able to see it through by yourself. But if not, I strongly recommend having a helping hand and looking at any videos you can find, because the manual won’t be of much help with some of the parts. The construction itself is very sturdy and it handled last week’s rainy day and this week’s 13 mph winds in Kentucky pretty well, seeing as the inside is completely dry and untouched. Another aspect our team enjoyed was that there are double windows and two screens that help with ventilation and there’s never any weird, closed-space smell inside. The only smells you’ll feel are those of the things you store. Pros: Construction is reinforced with steel All-weather protection Many ventilation features Large capacity Cons: If the foundation isn’t level, the roof pieces might not connect well and you could get leaks Instruction manual lacks clarity
We LOVE our new shed from Recreation Unlimited! We chose a custom build-on-site due to space constraints in our back yard. The craftsmanship was excellent and working with the company was a breeze. They are very attention and pay attention to details. I would highly recommend!
