Objective

During the course delegates will learn and demonstrate to a level of competence on how to operate fire fighting and fire protection equipment and how to deal with various fire situations on heli-deck. Emphasis will be on working as a team under the control of a Helicopter Landing Officer.

Target Group

This OPITO approved course is designed for personnel designated as Heli-deck team members on offshore installations.

Prerequisites

A valid OPITO Helideck Operations Initial Training Certificate. All delegates, prior to participating in practical exercises, must be in possession of a valid, current offshore or operator approved medical certificate.
